Join us on this 14-day all inclusive Art + Travel experience including a 5-day sculpture and pottery experience with Caroline Douglas in Morocco.

This Art of Travel adventure in Morocco will begin in Marrakech, following the ancient caravan route over the High Atlas Mountains to the edge of Sahara desert. Caroline Douglas will lead us on a foray in clay with a 5 day sculpture and pottery experience at the famous Tamegroute co-operative of Berber artisans.

You will learn local traditional methods, glazing techniques, and make your own hamsas and clay objects.

This cultural tour of South Morocco includes time in Marrakech before heading over the Atlas Mountains, passing by mud-built kasbahs and the fabulous Draa Valley Oasis. You will stay in hand-picked Riads and spend several nights in our Kasbah guesthouse nestled in an Oasis at the edge of the Sahara Desert. You will also enjoy a night “glamping” in Berber tents, and experience a sunset camel ride in the desert dunes.

During this sequel adventure we have added the bonus of visiting the seaside town of Essaouria, with a beach camel ride and a visit to the pottery town of Safi.
