I’m an artist and storyteller living between the road and the windswept silence of the Sahara. I curate immersive retreats through Morocco and beyond for those who seek more than a destination — for those drawn to depth, to beauty, to the art of slow travel.
Join us, on the wild edge of the Sahara, where we have lovingly restored my partners ancestral Kasbah — now home to our Nomad Atelier, a space where art, culture, and story converge. Within these weathered walls, we host intimate creative workshops rooted in place and guided by the rhythms of the desert. From pottery to photography, from ink-stained journals to mix media creations.
I believe in the art of travel — in wandering with intention, creating with presence, and connecting through shared experience. These retreats are not about checking places off a list, but about sinking into the texture of Morocco: the scent of mint tea, the echo of a call to prayer, the feel of earth on your fingers.

Michelle provides a fun and professional adventure with knowledgeable guides and drivers that make the experience worry free, safe, and exciting. The workshop environment was amazing. Many days, Michelle and her staff provided special surprises for us whether big or small, it was always delightful. The itinerary was was filled with interesting destinations and highlights. Our accommodations always, well appointed, safe, with a llocal flavor. She and her staff were always open to suggestions on our activities, both with the timing and changes to the plan. Our group of Artists stayed with Michelle & Kamal for 14 days. We were treated to a very welcoming atmosphere with comfortable rooms and a true local desert experience. The food was amazing, everything fresh and authentic. We had many unique experiences provided by our hosts. Everything from live music, cooking lessons to a wonderful overnight Sahara tented camp with sunset camel ride over the desert dunes. Michelle curated a fabulous tour for us to experience Morocco. It was so well organized we could focus on the here and now instead of the details of getting from one place to another. Having just ended an amazing adventure with Michelle Fletcher I am very sad to leave. She has showed up every time anybody needed anything.
