Exploring new places sets my soul on fire!

When I travel, I love to collect little items from my adventures that remind me of both the unique and mundane experiences that show up as I wander all the alleyways and paths that I find myself in each passing day that I get to roam. They can be as simple as a postcard, pebble from the seashore or a piece of paper that evokes history of a bygone time.

Since I often travel light, I like to bring small items that are easy to pack. Textiles, small artwork, relics, or ephemera. I also look for globally-inspired items from markets, vintage shops, artisans from around the place that I find myself. Galleries, local merchants and more often than not, a piece of something found discarded that catches my eye. You can truly bring a piece of the world to your home or atelier by adding in simple treasures that spark a sense of a place, a memory or a sweet connection with another..
