Gems of Rajasthan

India is a world of contrasts, sensory inspiration, immersed in deep cultural traditions.

India pulsates with a spectacular mix of people, traditions, spices, and scents.
Your journey through this mind-stirring country will be in your memory long after you've left it.

Spirituality is the common characteristic painted across the vast canvas of India. Sacred sites and rituals are a testament to the country's colourful history.

Why I Love India
The moment I start to think I'm unravelling one of India's mysteries, she has a way of reminding me that it would take more than a lifetimes to unearth her. Understanding India is a work in progress and this is what makes the country so deeply addictive for me, constant exploration, the unpredictability and just when it's least expected, you can find yourself in moments that alter the way you view the world and your place in it.

The Food
Brace yourself – you’re about to take one of the wildest culinary trips of your life. The hungry traveller can look forward to regionally distinct creations, from the competing flavours of marinates & thalis to the simplest vegetarian dahl.

The Unexpected
India gives you the unexpected. It can be challenging, particularly for the first-time visitor: the poverty is confronting, it can be exasperating and the sea of humanity can turn a simple task into an epic adventure; yet this is all part of the India. India has the ability to inspire, frustrate, and thrill at once, a ‘ flow' attitude is a wise daily intention to set. Allowing yourself to be a witness to all that crosses our path as we wander, gather and create together.

Travelling with a small group of like-minded people is a life changing transformational experience that offers a creative way to explore a new place that is stimulating, supportive and safe. I build the container that allows you to both to feel free and held.

Join us, and discover the all the flavors, and cultural wonders of one of the most intriguing places in the world!

The tour is not an intensive workshop as there is too much to see and experience in India, but time will be devoted to sharing ideas, discussing colour, pattern, experiencing other traditional art forms through out this journey as well as a 3 day Caging workshop in Jaipur with Susan Lenart .

Susan Lenart

A piece of jewelry is more than just a beautiful accessory and more than the sum of its parts. In the past 30 years growing as an artist, I have travelled to Southeast Asia, South America, Central America, East Africa, Australia, Indonesia, France, and Croatia observing both nature and history. I visited small villages and marveled at being able to witness their ancient traditions. I found that history, art, tradition and culture can not help but to be a big influence on adornment. Culture becomes embedded into this medium through every stitched or stamped symbol in fabric and every carved and engraved mark in metal.

“There are some parts of the world that, once visited, get into your head and heart and won’t let go— For me India is that place. When I first visited, I was stunned by the richness of the land, the beauty and exotic culture, by it’s ability to overload every sense with the pure intensity of the colours, smells, taste and noise. India is a world unto itself.”
